PUNE: City schools affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) have registered good results for secondary and higher secondary certificate exams (std X, XII) for the year 2008 which were declared late on Monday evening.Representatives of St Helena’s school and junior college, Vidya Valley school and Spicer Higher Secondary school have said that they have achieved 100 per cent results for std X.

Monica Marathe of St. Helena’s topped the school with 96.20 per cent marks and Rohin Shah of Vidya Valley scored the highest percentage with a 92.6 per cent in his school. Radhesh Gupta Chellu of Spicer Higher Secondary School topped his school with 94 per cent.

The Std XII students from Spicer Higher Secondary School have also achieved 100 per cent results in the science and commerce streams. Kaushik Kishor topped the science stream at Spicer with 86 per cent marks and Mukta Subparobon topped the commerce stream with 76 per cent marks in the junior college.

There are nine ICSE board schools in the city. They are The Bishop’s school, St Mary’s school, Hutchings high school, St Helena’s school & Jr college, Vidya Valley school, Spicer higher secondary school, Riverdale International Residential high school, Sahyadri school and Hume McHenry Memorial school.

Principals of the Bishop’s school, St Mary’s school, Hutchings high school, Riverdale International Residential high school, Sahyadri School and Hume McHenry Memorial school could not be contacted despite repeated attempts
