Germany rejects Sunday shopping
Germany’s highest court has upheld the country’s restrictive retail opening hours, disappointing consumers hoping to shop on Sundays and public holidays.The Federal Constitutional Court said the principle of rest on Sundays and public holidays was “sacrosanct.”
